Marcelo Cruz, President
Marcelo Cruz has served as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, Arrow Electronics and Mohawk Industries,
and Inc. Magazine award recipient Groupware Technology. Having spent a great deal of time working with management
teams ranging from the director level to C-level executives, the knowledge of running a successful business
is engrained in his DNA.
Marcelo received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), remains active with the
alumni association and is an active contributor to the Harvard Business Review Advisory Board.
As a core value he believes in giving back to the community and for the past 11 years has produced the 4th
of July Parade in his home of Westchester, California.

John Kotch, Founder and Chief Architect
John Kotch is an inventor, solution architect, and software developer specializing in SaaS and Cloud-Based systems. He has held
architect, developer, and business development positions with Bell Labs, AT&T, Fidelity, Remedy, Oracle, Siebel,
and BT/Infonet prior to founding Ion Objects in 2006. He is an expert in the field of code-generators, software that
automates the creation of software, which is the foundation of the Ion Objects Business Solutions Framework.
John received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina.

Rod Sohrabi, Head of Development
Rod architects and oversees customer solution configurations and works with the Ion Objects Core-Framework team to drive new features.
Rod comes to Ion Objects from Teradyne Electronics where he developed and supported web-based applications using Cold Fusion,
perl, VB script, and other scripting languages on 1TB+ Oracle databases synchronized in multiple sites in US, Europe, and Asia.
Rod is a Certified Oracle Enterprise DBA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in
Mathematics from California State University.
Rod lives in Woodland Hills, CA with his wife and son where he is active with his family and community.
